Gymnastics Meet
I had the opportunity to shoot a gymnastics meet with a few friends last week. We were working under about the worst lighting conditions possible, and were pushing our cameras to their absolute limits. After going through nearly 5000 photos…here’s a few of them. I used a terrible way to resize them so they look a lot grainier than they should. Just about all of these were taken with my 70-200 2.8. I tried using my 50 1.4 but it seemed to have trouble tracking in the low light…so it got very little use.

Sensor Cleaning…
I had some dust on the sensor of my Nikon D90 and wanted to clean it, but had never done anything like that before. These dust spots kept showing up as dark spots in the sky on landscape shots. Very annoying. After a little research I decided to try out a product called Sensor Swabs. Basically all you do is flip your sensor up in cleaning mode, wipe the sensor in one direction, then flip it and wipe it in the other direction. Done. Takes all of about 10 seconds. I took some before and after pictures so I could see if I got all that pesky dust off…
As you can see, it basically looks like new now. So I’d say that was a big success.
Here’s the website of the people that make these…

Engagement Shots…
I’ve done a few engagement sessions in the past (some on my own, some with a second photographer) and I thought I’d post a few here.
